We are currently looking for suitably qualified individuals for the role of Sales & Cylinder Management Representative -Industrial Gases – Port Moresby.

 

The Role & its Responsibilities

The purpose of the role is to maintain and sustain customer relationships, sales and distribution. The role is
responsible for ensuring Geogas’ competitive disadvantage is evidentially marked against its competitors to
ensure the continuous growth of revenue streams. Other duties include:
Develop regional distribution network for sustained revenue and growth.
Develop relationship wit major commercial and cash customers within the region to identify Opportunities
for industrial gas solutions.

  • Work with operations to ensure effective delivery.
  • Assist marketing with developing and executing marketing initiatives measuring outcomes for the activities.
  • Execute supply agreements.
  • Manage customer incentives in consultation with finance.
  • Develop regional sales budgets reporting monthly, weekly and daily.
  • Proactively suggest ways to improve sales processes.
  • Overseeing the distribution of cylinders to all customers and ensure that there is consistency in turnaround of cylinders for both full and empties at all times.
  • Develop and expand the distribution network to channel sales.
  • Liaise with stakeholders on monthly sales outcomes and discuss key challenges and strategies to sustain growth

The person we seek must have the following qualifications and experience.

  • Minimum Grade 12 education or diploma in Sales, business studies or related field. Tertiary qualification is
    desirable.
  • At least 5 – 10 years’ experience in Sales.
  • Experience in Gas and Oil industry is an advantage.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient troubleshooting skills and proficient with MS and Excel software.
  • Proactive and use initiative in identifying and resolving issues.
