PWC Charity Run

The PwC Corporate Challenge is an annual charity event organized by PwC in Papua New Guinea. It is a 5-kilometer fun run or walk that brings together the business community to raise funds for local charities and non-profit organizations.

Since starting the event in 2001, PwC has donated the funds raised to various beneficiaries over the years, including ChildFund, Port Moresby General Hospital, Ginigoada Business Development Foundation, WeCare and Lae City Mission; to name a few.

In 2023, the event raised over K170,000 which will be donated to charities focused on health, education, women and children, such as Life PNG Care, iCare4U PNG, Sir Buri Kidu Heart Institute, Ginigoada Foundation and the WeCare Foundation.

The PwC Corporate Challenge has evolved into a fun yet slightly competitive race that inspires community action by bringing together the business community and local organizations for a good cause.
